Caltrans District 10 State Route 49 San Andreas Complete Streets forum flyer
San Andreas, CA – This evening, Caltrans District 10 officials will update the Highway 49 pedestrian facility upgrades at a forum.
State road officials will discuss the State Route 49 San Andreas Complete Streets project to upgrade pedestrian facilities to current ADA standards and to improve mobility and access. The upgrades will be from Mountain Ranch Road, stretching to the other end of the town, Gold Oak Road, east of Pool Station Road. They will include bicycle lanes and wide sidewalks on either side of the highway, as shown in this Caltrans video: click here.
Caltrans representatives will be at the Town Hall building, located at 24 Church Hill Road in San Andreas; they will first give a presentation and then answer attendees’ questions regarding the plans. The forum is scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m.
