Sonora, CA — While skilled craftmen are always in demand, Habitat Tuolumne is seeing volunteers for the construction of a Tuolumne City area home.
Habitat´s Betsy Harden says the foundation is already poured for the Ponderosa Hills home which will belong to Sonora WalMart employee Denise McKenzie.
Now it´s time for the framing and that´s where Habitat Tuolumne County needs volunteers. A pair of orientation meetings have been scheduled. The first is set for Sunday afternoon at one o´clock at the Greenley Ave. Senior Center. The second is scheduled for Tuesday, the 19th, at 6:30pm at the Senior Center.
While the foundation is already in place, the official groundbreaking ceremony won´t be held until Saturday, September 23 at 1pm.
