San Andreas, CA — Candidates running for Calaveras County´s District 5 Supervisor office will meet in three scheduled debates before the November election.
Incumbent Victoria Erickson of Valley Springs is being challenged by Russ Thomas of Copperopolis.
The Valley Springs News will host the candidates from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, September 25 at the Rancho Calaveras Clubhouse in Valley Springs.
The Calaveras Chamber of Commerce and the Calaveras Enterprise are holding two candidates nights. From 7 to 9 p.m., the first night will take place on October 3 at Saddle Creek and the following night the candidates will meet again at the Rancho Calaveras Clubhouse.
District 5 covers Copperopolis, Rancho Calaveras and Jenny Lind.
