Stockton, CA — For the time being Caltrans and Yosemite Park officials report that all three of the Sierra Nevada mountain passes are open.
For a brief time, Sonora and Ebbetts were closed due to an October snowfall. Ebbetts Pass reopened prior to the noon hour today and Sonora Pass was scheduled to reopen by one o´clock.
Yosemite officials reopened the highest of the three passes, Tioga, by 9:30 Wednesday morning. Snow also closed the 9,945 foot pass.
