Sonora, CA — By a unanimous vote, the County Board of Supervisors today approved a six percent increase for all services at Tuolumne General Hospital effective November 1.
The only exclusion; room rates will not increase. T.G.H. Financial Analyst Purvi Knopf explained that most of the hospital´s contracts have fixed rates for room reimbursements so increasing the rate would only increase gross charges with no increase to net revenue.
The Board action came on behalf of a staff recommendation submitted by Acting County Administration Officer Craig Pedro.
