Sonora, CA — This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature District 8 Republican Assemblyman David Tangipa.
He is among a group of lawmakers who filed a lawsuit contesting Proposition 50, a Congressional redistricting initiative approved by voters on Tuesday.
Assemblyman Tangipa will explain what the lawsuit argues and the potential timelines.
He will also speak about a Voter ID ballot initiative that he is proposing for 2026, and talk about his recent call for Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara to resign due to excessive spending on state-funded trips.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
