Sonora, CA — The Sierra Resource Management Plan is open for public comment and folks will get a chance to have their say tonight in Sonora.
The Bureau of Land Management created the plan to provide direction for lands within the Folsom Field Office, including lands in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
The plan addresses issues such as wildfire, recreation and motorized vehicle access.
Copies are available online at www.blm.gov/ca/folsom. Comments will be accepted through December 13.
The public meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Sonora High School.
