Tuolumne County Residents Arrested On Drug and Weapons Charges

Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department hit a home run Wednesday evening arresting five individuals on a variety of drug and weapons related charges.

Initially, deputies arrested 29 year old Jeremy Paul Hernandez of Sonora along with 41 year old Susan Rene Short. Within their vehicle deputies discovered a loaded .44 caliber revolver, scales, drug residue and a small quantity of marijuana. Short also had several thousands of dollars in cash. Both remain in custody.

21 year old Destiny McMullen was then arrested in MiWuk. She was in possession of methamphetamine along with stolen prescription pills. She remains in custody.

And finally, 41 year old Peter Neal Desnoo of Sonora and 24 year old Doris Jeannette Murphy of Sonora were arrested for possession of marijuana and several hypodermic needles and syringes concealed in their vehicle. They were booked and then released on their promise to appear in court.
