Sonora, CA — This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature leaders of several of the area food banks and pantries.
They have witnessed a short-term spike in demand in recent weeks due to uncertainty related to federal SNAP benefits and other related issues. The general need in the community has also been increasing in recent months and years.
The panel will include ATCAA Executive Director Joe Bors, ATCCA Food Bank Director Miko Daniels, Nancy’s Hope Executive Director Nancy Scott, and Interfaith Social Services Executive Director Diane Bennett.
The group will also highlight various other services that they provide, ways for the community to help, and special initiatives coming up over the holiday months. ATCCA’s list of Tuolumne County Food Banks is here.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
