Amador County, CA — The new Highway 49 bypass in Amador County will be unveiled today at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
State officials will gather at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 49 and Valley View Drive in Sutter Creek.
The bypass is a two-lane expressway around the cities of Sutter Creek and Amador City.
According to the Amador County Transportation Commission, the bypass won´t actually open until sometime in the end of December.
