Drunk Driving Lands Sonora Woman Behind Bars

Sonora, CA – The CHP reports that a Sonora woman was arrested for DUI and felony child abuse after she crashed into a boulder.

The evening collision occurred recently on Saratoga Road in Sonora. The CHP reports that 26-year-old Breanna Morgan was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound on Saratoga Road, east of Shaws Flat Road, with a 6-year-old boy passenger. They added, “Morgan allowed her vehicle to leave the roadway, where she crashed into a boulder.  Upon the officer’s arrival on the scene, it was determined that Morgan was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.”

Luckily, there were no injuries reported in this crash. Morgan was arrested for DUI and felony child abuse.
