San Andreas, CA — A new supervisors training held last week in Orange County was aimed at helping newly elected official learn the ropes.
Calaveras County Supervisor-elect Russ Thomas says the training was mandated and focused on the Brown Act and ethics.
Thomas says the training was worthwhile and eye opening.
He also says the trip helped fast track his goals of meeting colleagues in neighboring regions.
The training took place at the California State Association of Counties annual conference.
