Sonora, CA — A probable cause hearing is set for this afternoon in the Brian Beenblossom case.
At approximately 10pm on Saturday, October 28, Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputy Jeff Gempler attempted to stop the 41 year old Beenblossom on Mono Way. Beenblossom accelerated his Blazer and failed to yield to deputies. C.H.P. officers and Sheriff´s deputies pursued Beenblossom, often times at extreme speeds, on a twenty minute chase before his vehicle became disabled. Beenblossom was subdued after a brief struggle and jailed.
District Attorney Donald Segerstrom says that Beenblossom already has three prison terms on his record. When it comes to a case of assaulting a peace officer, Segerstrom says he takes that personally.
