Sonora, CA — 41 year old Brian Beenblossom will be arraigned Monday, December 18 on numerous charges related to a high speed chase he orchestrated on October 28th.
During Wednesday´s probable cause hearing, a charge of assaulting a peace officer with a deadly weapon was reduced to assaulting a peace officer.
On that Saturday, Beenblossom was pulled over by Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputy Jeff Gempler. Beenblossom then accelerated from the scene leading deputies and Highway Patrol units on a twenty minute high-speed chase which ended on Mono Way when his vehicle became disabled. Following a struggle Beenblossom was subdued, arrested and transported to the County Jail where he has been held without bail.
Beenblossom has already served three prison terms.
