Jamestown, CA — A 35 year old Jamestown area resident could be in trouble with the law … again.
The 6-2, 180 pound white male was spotted just after midnight Sunday riding an ATV without a helmet and lights. Initially stopped, the suspect then accelerated away from the deputy and disappeared.
On further investigation Wednesday, Deputy Alex Rivera discovered the ATV and its driver at a residence on Seventh St. The subject admitted that he ran because he had just completed his parole and didn´t want anything negative on his driving record. Rivera released the subject.
No arrest has been made and the name of the subject has not been released pending a decision by the District Attorney´s office as to whether or not charges will be filed.
