Sonora, Ca — Last night the City of Sonora approved a new agreement with Comcast for Cable Television services, and today the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors approved a similar plan.
Under the agreement, Comcast has agreed to rebuild the current system within five years. The rebuild would allow customers more digital options in the coming years.
There are built in incentives for Comcast to have the new system up in shorter time. The base contract is for five years, with incentives that could extend it to a total of 15 years.
In other business, The Tuolumne Band of MiWuk Indians moved another step closer to the development of the Cherry Valley Golf Club.
By a unanimous vote, the Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the general plan and a change to the zoning.
