Sonora, CA — The Lowe´s Home Improvement Center has received approval from the Sonora Planning Commission after several changes were made to the Design and Site Plan Review.
Planning Commissioner Tom Holloway brought up the concern of storage containers as well as landscaping, however after re-wording the design and site review plan he says Lowe´s will add to the centralization of the shopping destinations in Sonora.
Mike Jones with California Gold says he is pleased with the outcome and hopes to move forward with the project as soon as possible.
Lisa Vaughn with The Citizens For Responsible Growth says they will appeal the Planning Commissions decision by writing a letter that states all of their concerns.
Vaughn also says they have 10 days to submit the letter to the city clerk before it goes to the City Council.
