Standard, CA — CDF reports an equipment fire at the Sierra Pacific mill in Standard last night.
CDF spokesman Craig Hart says the fire began at about 6:20 and did about $2500 in damage to the building´s electrical system.
The fire was reportedly confined to the planer area where it began in a piece of equipment.
Hart says the blaze was quickly extinguished by the building´s sprinkler system. No injuries were reported.
