Columbia, CA — Columbia College is streamlining the process for students to transfer into the University of California and California State University systems.
Transfer Admission Agreements are formal written agreements between eligible students and the four-year schools often requiring the completion of a certain number of transferrable classes and a consistent grade-point average.
The agreements outline the courses to be completed and certain requirements for specific majors.
Students who have the agreements are also notified whether they are accepted into their university of choice about six months before those without agreements.
Columbia College now has agreements with the University of California campuses in Davis, Riverside, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz, as well as Sonoma State.
