Sonora, CA — Although 2000 bikes were expected to turn out for the ride from Modesto to the Sonora Fairgrounds, organizers said more than 3,000 cruised through the streets of Sonora.
The event is held every year to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Harley Davidson President Jim McCaslin and CEO Jim Ziemert said the turn out was amazing.
A woman at the event with her two daughters that were diagnosed with Muscular Dystropy in 2002 said she couldn´t believe the response.
The fifty dollar entry fee for the ride included a lunch barbecue and the concert.
