Child Killed By Pit Bull In San Francisco Attack

San Francisco, CA — There´s been another fatal dog mauling in San Francisco. This time a child is the victim, dead from a vicious pit bull attack.

One dog was shot and killed at the scene. Another put bull was taken away by the city´s Animal Care and Control department.

The attack happened near a home alongside Golden Gate Park in the city´s Inner Sunset District.

Lieutenant Bill Wickliffe of the San Francisco Fire Department confirms that the child died from bite wounds sustained in the attack.

The child´s identity, gender and age are not immediately available.
