Undated — Analysts say the price of gas is on the decline nationwide.
Motorists enjoyed a 3-cent drop in the national average over the last two weeks. According to Triple-A, prices are dropping a little slower in California where the statewide average for self-serve regular unleaded is $2.52 a gallon.
San Francisco still has the nation´s highest prices with an average of $2.71 a gallon. Statewide, Chico has the lowest average at $2.50.
Experts say prices are coming down in part because of an increase in gas and oil supplies.
