San Andreas, CA – – Calaveras County´s “Take Woman To Heart” Project targets heart disease, which supporters say is the #1 killer of women.
The event gathered over 50 women and informed them about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and regular checkups to help prevent heart disease and stroke.
Keynote Speaker Cardiologist Dr. Kenny Charn discussed the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, and the importance of preventative measures.
The luncheon was held at Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital at noon on Thursday.
The final event in the 3 part series will be a luncheon on November 4th.
