Fire Investigators Determine Source Of Smoke At Mervyn’s

Sonora Fire Chief Mike Barrows says the source of smoke that evacuated the Mervyn´s department store on Sanguinetti Road in Sonora this morning was a set of condenser coils in an air-conditioning unit.

The store was evacuated for about an hour as fire fighters went through the building looking for what was causing a smoky haze in the building. No injuries or significant damage were reported.
