Temporary Road Closure In Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County, CA – A section of Evergreen Road will shut down due to power line issues at Evergreen Lodge near Groveland in Tuolumne County tomorrow.

Crews from Hetch Hetchy Water and Power will begin working at 6 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, to repair those power lines. Public Works relayed that guest and staff access to and from the Lodge will be available during the work. However, other traffic is urged to use alternative routes to avoid any delays. Mather Road is open to Hetch Hetchy as an alternative route for those who wish to visit Yosemite National Park.

Public Works added that the repair is a one-day operation.
