An environmental group is listing two California rivers among the nation´s ten most endangered.
The group American Rivers has listed the Tuolumne River at number eight on the list. The Group says the Tuolomne River is threatened because of proposed plans by the city of San Francisco to divert more of it´s waters for municipal use.
San Francisco gets most of its water from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir on the Tuolumne in Yosemite National Park. The other California River on the list is the Santa Clara, which sits at number ten.
