Update at 7:10am: South Washington Street is back open and traffic is moving freely.
Original story posted at 6:20am: Sonora, CA — If you are heading along South Washington Street this morning you will be met by a slight detour.
The Sonora Police Department has learned that crews are working to repaint the crosswalks. The full closure is between the area of Gold and Church streets. It is not immediately clear how long the work will last. Be prepared for activity in the area.
