Basketball fans in the Mother Lode take note: the NBA has just released a new code of conduct for spectators and players.
The new rules include requiring players to respect and appreciate each and every fan. Guests will be treated in a professional and courteous manner. Spectators are not to engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court, at the risk of being ejected from the arena. The NBA has also mandated that concessionaires stop selling alcohol at the start of the 4th quarter.
This will only mean a minor change for Kings fans. Concessions at Arco Arena have historically stopped selling alcohol 2 minutes after the final quarter of play begins.
