The public is invited to weigh in on local transportation needs during a meeting that will be conducted by the Tuolumne County Transportation Council on Wednesday, January 26th starting at 5 p.m.
Tuolumne County Transit Manager Darin Grossi says residents are encouraged to advise the council on what they consider to be the area´s unmet needs.
Tuolumne County Transit services about 300 people each day. Buses travel from Twain Hart to Sonora, to Black Oak Casino and even connect with Calaveras County Transit. From there riders can connect to Greyhound and travel throughout the state and beyond. The meeting will be held inside the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors chambers in downtown Sonora.
