The Calaveras County Planning Commission meets today to consider a number of proposals, including an application from A.T.&T. Wireless Service for a permit to construct a wireless telecommunications facility on a leased, 10-acre parcel on Howard Lane off the north side of Highway 26 in Mokelumne Hill.
The facility would include an 80-foot tall monopole and 40 by 40-foot equipment cabinets. Planners will also consider a request to rezone a 40 acre parcel to allow a subdivision comprised of 83 new homes. The proposed development is located on the north side of Vista De Lago on the west side of Hogan Dam Road.
