Stutsman Dies

Retired State Corrections official Larry Stutsman died at Sonora Regional Medical Center on Thursday.

He was 88 years old and a longtime Sonora area resident. Stutsman served as the state´s chief deputy director for the Department of Corrections for 16 years, during the 1960´s and 1970´s. After retiring, he raised race-horses on Buckhorn Mountain. A Memorial Service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on January 30th at the Sonora Elks Lodge.
