Sacramento, Ca — A study says that the wet winter resulted in a lot of extra water releases into the San Joaquin-Sacramento River Delta, and then to the Pacific Ocean.
The California Farm Water Coalition says there was enough extra water flowing the delta to serve more than 1 million Californians.
They urged the state to consider building more water storage facilities to capture water that´s available during similar high flows coming down from the high country run-off.
