Airport Officials In San Francisco Increase Security Presence

San Francisco, CA — People flying out of San Francisco International Airport will see added security after today´s explosions in London.

A spokesman for S-F-O says San Francisco police held over some officers to beef up airport security. Bomb-sniffing dogs have also been brought in to make what was called “a visible presence in the terminal.”

The F-A-A is reporting only minor delays at the airport, with some flights being delayed about 15 minutes.

People who drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and use the area´s bus and ferry systems will see few changes today.

A spokeswoman with the Golden Gate Bridge District says the security at the Golden Gate Bridge was already on high alert.

Security officials already do routine inspections of buses, and security improvements have already been made on ferry terminals.
