Sonora, CA — After 24 years as a member of the counseling staff at Columbia College, Paul Lockman has retired.
Lockman came to Columbia College in 1981 after spending 6 years as a counselor in San Luis Obispo.
He was appointed Dean of rehabilitative Counseling in 2001. Lockman earned his master´s degree in rehabilitative counseling in 1975 from Fresno State University.
Lockman was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 1965 after becoming disabled from a war injury in Vietnam.
Lockman says his disability was a factor in his retirement, as well as his desire to spend more time with his son and daughter, along with his four-year-old granddaughter in Modesto.
