Angels, Camp, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will consider a $1 vehicle tax to fund law enforcement technology at their Monday meeting.
The tax would affect all registered vehicle owners in the County and a $2 fee will be applied to all commercial vehicle owners.
The fees are expected to generate close to $100,000, which would be used to purchase fingerprint scanners and database machines for performing criminal, record checks.
