Sonora, CA — CDF officials are looking into a 10-acre grass and brush fire that occurred near Tuttletown over the weekend.
Debbie Keenan with CDF says crews responded to the scene on Tuttletown Road right off of Highway 49 just before midnight Friday.
Keenan says ten CDF engines responded along with a dozer from Altaville and three hand crews from Baseline Conservation Camp.
Local engines from Tuolumne County and Columbia Fire District were also on hand. Keenan says the damage is estimated at about $2000, but it´s unclear who owns the property.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
