Sonora, CA — Family members of a missing Nevada woman say another search conducted by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department of the Donnell Vista area Saturday has turned up nothing.
The search team reportedly consisted of volunteers, dogs, military personnel and a helicopter.
The family of 64-year-old Nita Mayo also assembled a search team of about 40 volunteers, who combed the area along highway 108 looking in campgrounds, off road areas and ravines.
Mayo has been missing since August 8th when she told friends in Nevada that she was going to the California side of the Sierras. She was reported missing when she failed to show up for work the following day.
Her car was found at the Donnell Vista overlook two days later with her purse and cell phone inside.
