Sonora, CA — The grand opening and first official use of the new artificial turf field at Sonora High School is tomorrow evening.
High school principal Terry Clark says it is going to be a great experience for the community and there will be games, food, a dunk tank, and balloon tossing.
Clarke says the gates open at 5pm and it is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and $25 per family. The event is a fundraiser designed to help “Complete The Dream,” which includes new lights, a new track, and a new softball field. Clarke hopes to raise more than $1 million over the course of the next few years to make it all happen.
