Sonora, CA — CDF officials are investigating a blaze that destroyed an East Sonora home early this morning.
CDF spokesman Craig Hart says crews responded to the Borden home on Delores Lane just after 5:30 to find the structure fully engulfed in flames.
P.G. & E. crews were also called in to de-energize a fallen power cable on the scene.
A total of four engines were dispatched along with two water tenders and a fire fighter support vehicle.
The home was determined to be a total loss with damage estimated to total $300,000 to the structure and its contents.
The home was successfully evacuated and there were no injuries.
