San Francisco, CA — The American Automobile Association of Northern California is warning drivers that more than 700 new laws will take effect in the coming year.
AAA is teaming up with the California Highway Patrol to educate police officers and motorists about the imminent changes.
The new laws include revisions in teen driver regulations, establishment of a car-buyers´ bill of rights and tougher drunk driving laws.
Next year will also see an increase in restrictions of so-called “pocket bikes” and more transportation funding.
AAA says drivers should know about the changes before the new year, rather than finding out about the new laws when they are getting tickets for breaking them.
Some of the impending changes can be seen at the AAA web site
