Sacramento, CA — Forecasters are anticipating a break in the wet weather today, but not a long one.
The National Weather Service says an active storm track will bring more torrential rains to the area over the weekend. The rains are expected to begin tomorrow and last possibly into Sunday.
A flood warning has been issued for the upper Sacramento river while flood watches may be issued for smaller streams and creeks. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible.
The weather service is warning travelers to prepare for extreme conditions and stay up to date on the latest reports.
