Meth bust—TCSO photo
Jamestown, CA—A hefty meth bust in Jamestown earlier this week, with a large amount of the drug found in the suspect’s vehicle and home.
A Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputy patrolling in the area of 9th Street on Wednesday (5/27/26) pulled over a vehicle just after midnight. The sole occupant and driver was 42-year-old Jared Benjerman Fuson. He was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), which allowed for a search of his vehicle. Inside, approximately 91 grams of methamphetamine were uncovered.
The deputy called in the Tuolumne Narcotics Team (TNT) to assist with the investigation, and a search of Fuson’s trailer turned up more meth and drug paraphernalia. The exact amount was not disclosed.
Fuson was arrested and transported to the Dambacher Detention Center (DDC), where he was booked on possession, transportation, and sales of a controlled substance for sale with two or more prior convictions; drug paraphernalia; and his violation of his post-release.
