Calaveras County has a new undersheriff.
Acting Sheriff Randy Grasmuck announced today that he´s appointing Captain Ron McFall to the Undersheriff´s position.
He´s been in law enforcement for 36 years and he´s been with the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department since 1979.
McFall has spent time as a detective, a drug investigator, and an operations commander while working for Calaveras County.
The appointment goes into effect next Monday.
