Man Spends Night In Car After Crash

A man in his mid-80s spent the night in his car after his ran off Highway 120 in the Yosemite National Park early this morning. Park rangers report the unidentified man´s car plunged down an embankment around 2 am last night, rolling over, and coming to rest against a tree.

Luckily, the 84-year-old gentleman was not seriously injured in the mishap.

He was able to walk back up to the highway in the Crane Flat area and was spotted by a trail crew around 7 this morning.

He was transported by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment and observation.

Highway 120 also referred to as Tioga Road was closed for about an half hour around 9:30 this morning to allow tow truck crews retrieve the vehicle.
