Sonora, CA — The MACT Health Board Inc. has been growing its services and locations across the Mother Lode.
This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature the new Executive Director, Mariela Contreras, and the Director of Marketing and Development, Damian Riley.
MACT provides healthcare services in a five-county area: Mariposa, Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, and Tuolumne. The primary mission of MACT is to “improve the Health Status of the American Indian and Alaskan Native population.” It is through a comprehensive health care system designed to “preserve and promote the traditional well-being and cultural sensitivity of the Tribal communities” it serves.
MACT’s services are also offered to the greater population as well.
The pair will provide an overview of the operations of MACT, recent renovations and expansions, new offerings, projects on the horizon, partnerships, and the opening of its museum in Angels Camp.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
