Yosemite, CA — A man was reportedly swept away by the currents of the Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park this past Saturday.
Limited details are being released by the National Park Service, but a statement notes, “The National Park Service is investigating an incident involving a 23-year-old male at Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park on June 20, 2026.”
It goes on to state that emergency personnel responded to the incident, and it remains under investigation. Concluding, “No additional information is available at this time.”
It is a strenuous and steep, but popular, hike to the top of the Nevada Fall. Emergency officials have been in the area over recent days.
