Two Drug Violators Arrested in Calaveras County

Sheriff´s Deputies in Calaveras County made another sweep of parole violators over the weekend, and two Copperopolis men were separately arrested for drug violations.
On Friday, 33-year-old Shannon Patrick Casey was arrested after a probation search after officers found a large knife and drug paraphernalia.
Then on Saturday, 41-year-old Michael Keith Althouse was arrested for being under the influence of methamphetamine and was also found in possession of a large knife.
Both men were taken to Calaveras County Jail.
Officials say bail amounts in each case have not yet been determined.
