There was food, fun, and flight at the Tenth Annual Air Fair at the Calaveras County Airport.
Biplanes, seaplanes, and even a couple of helicopters were among the attractions Saturday in San Andrews, and non-aviators were even able to take an aerial ride over the Motherlode.
“It´s mostly to show local people what goes on at the airport. We have nonprofit organizations that come out and do breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and do the car parking. There´s no cost for people to come out here,” said airport manager Kathy Zancanella.
The event was free and open to the public.
