It was a big weekend for the mining town of Columbia.
Amid newly constructed buildings at the corner of State Street and Main Street, folks young and old came to observe the community´s 154th Columbia Day Celebration.
The party included a birthday cake, singing, horse-drawn carriages, and some gambling.
Not to worry, the gambling was for wooden nickels.
It all happened at high noon Saturday in Columbia.
