The Home and Garden Show kicks off this morning starting at 9am at the Motherlode Fairgrounds.
Food, home and garden exhibits, and prize drawings are on hand for Motherlode residents, and a playground and face-painting are available for children.
More than 130 groups and exhibitors will be present, performing demonstrations and handing out brochures.
Admission and parking are free, although officials say parking at the fairgrounds is limited, so shuttle buses are running from the Junction shopping center.
The shuttles are free of charge as well.
